NLI Young Investigator Travel Award
The National Liver Institute grants awards to young investigators whose research in hepatology or gastroenterology was accepted for presentation in an International Conference outside of Egypt.
This award is towards travel expenses to enable the young investigators to attend the Conference and present his/her work.
Eligibility
1) The recipient must be the presenting author of the submitted abstract.
2) Applicant should be an affiliated member of the NLI (resident / assistant lecturer / lecturer / specialist).
3) None of the coauthors of the same abstract are receiving financial support from Menoufiya University.
4) Research of the submitted work should have been done in laboratories and clinics of the NLI.
5) The recipient should be less than 35 years of age at time of application.
6) A minimum of three years period should have elapsed since receiving a similar award.
7) Competition among applicants is based on distinction in research that provides direct application to liver/GIT disease management.
8) The decisions of the evaluating committee are final.
Application should include:
1) Proof of acceptance of the submitted abstract from the organizing committee of the International Conference.
2) Copy of the accepted abstract.
3) Photocopy of NLI-ID.
4) Photocopy of numbered showing birth date.
